The Sacred Place of Lord Shri Ram's Exile
Hanumandhara is one of the most famous spiritual sites in Chitrakoot. Located on a hill, it houses the temple of Lord Hanuman and a sacred water stream. Devotees believe that visiting this place fulfills their wishes.
Sphatik Shila is a sacred crystal rock located on the banks of the Mandakini River. It is believed that Mata Sita used to rest here and Lord Ram bathed in this river during his exile.

Kamadgiri Parvat is considered the most sacred site in Chitrakoot. Pilgrims believe that performing a parikrama (circumambulation) around this hill fulfills all their wishes.
Ramghat, situated on the banks of the Mandakini River, hosts a spectacular evening Aarti. Witnessing this spiritual ritual is a mesmerizing experience for devotees and visitors alike.
Ayodhya was stated to be the capital of the ancient Kosala kingdom in the Ramayana. Hence it was also referred to as "Kosala".
